Howard G. Silverman
Howard G. Silverman is the founding partner and lead attorney of Kane & Silverman. In 1983, Howard received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and in 1986 he received his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Howard is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, along with the American Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers. Howard has been recognized by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum—the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in America. Membership is limited to attorneys who have million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than one percent of U.S. lawyers are members.
In recognition of his commitment to his clients and his legal accomplishments, Howard G. Silverman is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for the highest level of legal ability and adherence to the professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.
Howard specializes in representing first-party insured in bad faith insurance claims. He has also successfully prosecuted claims for bad faith in third-party claims for failure to defend unsatisfied judgments. He has become an expert in insurance bad faith law and has been invited to speak about such issues on numerous occasions, including to the National Organization of Public Adjusters.
Howard is also a partner at the Haggerty & Silverman law firm in Lancaster County where he joined forces with long-time Lancaster trial lawyer William Haggerty. Haggerty & Silverman has extensive experience in representing individuals and their families who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents in addition to all personal injury claims. The firm has been voted the #1 law firm in Lancaster County two years in a row.
In his spare time, Howard is an avid sports fan supporting all of Philadelphia’s major league teams as well as his alma mater football team, the Florida Gators. He also likes to spend time with his wife and two children.
Eric Keepers
Eric Keepers is a licensed PA attorney practicing in the areas of insurance bad faith and personal injury. Eric received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate,magna cum laude, from the Widener University School of Law. During his time at Widener University he served on the editorial staff of the Widener Journal of Public Law, and received the American Jurisprudence Awards for Civil Procedure, Property, Torts, Constitutional Law and Secured Transactions. Additionally, while studying at Widener, Eric spent two years as a judicial clerk to the Honorable James P. Cullen of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.
Eric was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1995. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Eric has built his experience while working for a Lancaster County firm. He is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and has co-authored numerous case notes and continuing education materials on insurance bad faith. Eric is also a member of the Pennsylvania and Lancaster Bar Associations.
Eric joins Kane & Silverman as an asset in Insurance Bad Faith law, assisting people in disputes with insurance companies.
Randall M Justice
Following Randall’s graduation from college, he received a full tuition scholarship to attend the Dickinson School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2005. While there, Randall served as the Captain of the National Appellate Moot Court team as well as a Managing Editor of the Journal of American Arbitration. Randall also received the George F. Douglas Jr. Award for the highest grade in the school’s intensive trial advocacy program and the CALI Award for his excellence in negotiations.
As a practicing attorney, Randall has a vast array of litigation experience at both the trial and appellate level. He has previously practiced in Pittsburgh and at a large Lancaster County firm. In addition to trying a number of matters to successful conclusions, Randall has appeared before both the Commonwealth and Superior Courts and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
